Polishing Hesalite

Acrylic crystals can be polished with Polywatch paste — a $5 fix that works remarkably well for light scratches. Apply paste, rub in circles, buff clean.

When Replacement Is Necessary

  • Any crack — water can enter
  • Deep scratches that catch a fingernail
  • Chips at the edge — can spread

Replacement Cost

  • Mineral glass: $5-15 + labor
  • Sapphire: $20-50 + labor
  • Hesalite: $3-10 OR polish instead
